Opera and Ballet

In its Twentieth Season, Opera Siam is the flagship opera company of Thailand and universally known as the most innovative and productive opera company in the ASEAN region.

Leading opera singers of the world have appeared in events under the Opera Siam logo, such as Jessye Norman in a Royal Command Performance.  Opera Siam has also played a role in the development of most of the well known Thai opera singers working today, such as Nadlada Thamtanakom of the Flemish Opera in Belgium, Kittinan Chimsamran, one of Thailand's most well known singing teachers,

The prestige of the Opera Siam rubric can enhance your event whether it's by providing an evening of opera or classical song, of musical scenes, or even a full-scale chamber opera production with costumes and staging.

Opera Siam maintains a ballet ensemble as well.  One of its most well-known productions has been the record-breaking audience-attending Suriyothai.

Symphony

The Siam Philharmonic, now in its Fourteenth Season, is one of Thailand's most internationally known symphony orchestras.  It is the resident orchestra of Opera Siam and also has its own concert series.  One of its most significant accomplishments has been the complete Mahler symphonies, performed in Thailand over the last decade.  It was also the first Thai orchestra to perform many significant repertoire works such as Strauss's Also sprach Zarathustra.

The Siam Sinfonietta is the training program for the Siam Philharmonic Orchestra.  In its Seventh Season, this youth ensemble has performed at the Berlin Young Euro Festival, at Carnegie Hall, at the Musikverein in Vienna (where it won first prize in a competition) and other major halls around the world.

Chamber Music and Choirs

The Orpheus Choir is the resident chorus of Opera Siam.  They are one of the most experienced opera choruses in the region, having performed much of the most significant opera repertoire.  Calliope Chamber Choir is a recent "elite" choir that performs some of the toughest repertoire.

Numerous chamber ensembles are at Music-Now's disposal including string quartets, trios, soloist and piano groups, and vocal recitalists.
